Abacus is designed to be modular, allowing you to add devices as you require. The devices which collect data for the system can be moved around and renamed. They can even run on their own offline, connecting to the network server later to upload their data. This functionality allows Abacus to harvest counts from locations that may not have been accessible before.

As an example, there can be a main Abacus installation at a head office, with several, smaller systems off site that harvest information locally, before sending it on to the main Abacus server. The main server installation can view time-stamped data from each site that it receives counts from.

This solution was created with both local and international businesses in mind. Even if you have several sites spanning a wide geographical area, with intermittent connectivity, this solution will allow you to view the data from all your sites from a single reporting platform.
